Day 3 of the Greatest Carnival alive and I'm properly excited.
A change in conditions is expected with a southerly wind forecasted for Thursday, which might favour leaders.
However, with the rail moving out to 8m, we could see a shift.
As always, I’m expecting an on-pace bias, but this could change throughout the day.
Let’s get in early and aim for some returns!

Jack continues to nail his best bets at a good rate!
Here’s why I’m keen on Kallos for this race:
Track & Trip Stats: Four starts over this track and trip have yielded two wins and a second place. The only time he missed the placings, he brushed a rival at the jump, lost ground, and still managed to run on into 7th.
The Draw: Although a lower draw can be trickier, jockey James McDonald has the versatility to position him well. I expect a bit more intent from Kallos out of the gates this time.
SP Profile: He’s held strong starting prices (SPs) this preparation, competing well against many of the same runners he faces here.
Form: Several competitors are coming from shared races, including the Schillaci Stakes, which has proven to be a strong form reference. Bellatrix Star, the Schillaci winner, went on to run 2nd in the Coolmore on Derby Day.
Not Suited Last Start: In his last run, Mornington Glory and Recommendation lost momentum in front of him just as he was winding up, which likely cost him a closer finish.
It’s been over a year since we’ve seen Kallos at 1000m, but the stable will have him spot on and I expect a very competitive performance.
The one at longer odds I’d keep an eye on is Philosopher, who looks to get an ideal run from barrier 7.
