Punters powerful performance
It was another powerful performance from the Punters, taking out 7 of the top 10 positions.
Only two media experts held their own and not surprisingly, after the blood both in Sydney and Melbourne for most bettors on the weekend, they came from WA.
The key to success this week was finding that diamond in the rough, with most tipsters having massive average winning prices.
A great effort from all who made the leaderboard.
Best horse racing tipsters for the week
Pro tipster Basher43 has one of the sharpest eyes for roughies.
He continues to land monster-priced winners and the first week of August was no different.
It was a Doomben demolition that led him to first place with Kavak kicking off the day at $27.70.
To prove to followers it was no fluke, he nailed Enterprise Mia in the last at $8.50.
This resulted in a whopping 503% profit on turnover (POT) and cash profit off $100 win bets above $3k.
Long may the roughie king continue to dominate up north.
Vyking kicked off the punter's assault with his QLD raid.
Early in the week, it was at Townsville where Vee Eight Power saluted at eye-watering odds of $34.50.
Then at the same Doomben meeting where Basher melted the bookies, Vyking found Couldn't Refuse at $21.80 to fill his own pockets.
A super effort that left his followers with $4,920 cash profit from only twenty tips.
Rounding out the podium was Tonyzed15 who put on a Belmont boilover.
It started early in the card with Marchamley at $32.40, but it didn't end here.
Rejuva King stormed home to salute only 4 races later at $20.60.
This led to a 209% POT and an average winning price of $20.60.
Tony is heating up at the right time and with Spring just around the corner, he is one to keep an eye on.
Ernie Manning is tipping like a fine wine, only getting better with age.
It was a week to remember for the WA specialist, as he found winner after winner.
Furthermore, the prices were nothing to brush over. An average winning price of $8.54 from 9 winners is truly impressive.
This led Ernie to a cash profit of $4,330 and filled his follower's pockets for the next few months on end.
Manning dominates WA racing
The final media tipster to make the top 10 was Michael Heaton.
The sharp analyst has been flying under the radar with the number of stars in WA, but this is not to take away from his prowess.
Michael has been lining them up and knocking them down at big prices.
A massive 133% POT was enough for him to secure a position on the leaderboard of stars.
Congratulations to all other pro and 'punter' tipsters who filled our top 10 leaderboard. An outstanding effort over a great weekend of racing.
These include WAonly1, Maxtip, Mystic, Kezzler and Deej101.
Best Greyhound and Harness Tipsters
Gerard Daffy from Tab put on a strong performance for followers of the greys.
He excels at Darwin and it was a dynamite performance tipping 6 winners from 8 races.
This included Attorney at $12.20. Long may he continue to fill punters' pockets.
Harness caller Craig Easey from Sky Racing was one of the stars of the week.
Craig went almighty close to tipping the card at Bathurst trots.
Look at these numbers. 4 winners from 7 races at an average price of $4.92.
Furthermore of his remaining tips, they are finished in the placings with 2 more seconds and a third.
This led to a 228% POT and a whopping $1,370 cash profit for the week.
Not only a great race caller but an outstanding tipster.
