Punters turn it on
Horse Racing tipster of the week
It was sheer domination from theGreatTipOff's brigade of pro punters this week.
They surged to the top end of the leaderboard, led by WA local AlanUtterson.
Top 10 horse racing tipsters of the week
This Sandgroper got hold of some sensational value out west.
He bagged 4 winners, including $49 pop Cristal Dane who saluted at Pinjarra on Thursday.
Considering that these 4 winners came from just 14 tips, this was a phenomenal effort.
It's no wonder that AlanUtterson clocked off with a mammoth 380% Profit on Turnover (POT).
But rather than being a one-off flash in the pan, this pro punter has been tipping with this kind of quality for a while now.
In fact, over the past 180 days, AlanUtterson is nudging $10K in cash profit from $100 win bets on his tips.
He's definitely someone punters will be keeping their eye on.
AlanUtterson notching up some big numbers
The next punter to show his class was MitchyLucas.
This Victorian-based punter saw 5 of his 17 tips greet the judge, at a fat average price of $11.26.
The standout selection was 30/1 hope Roland Garros, who out-stayed his rivals on the bog track at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
MitchyLucas pulls in one from the clouds
MitchyLucas's superb tipping generated an enormous 231% POT, or $3,930 if you followed his 17 selections with $100 bets.
What an effort.
The final punter to earn a shout out is Asiandaveblue1951.
Regular readers will probably recognise this bloke, considering he featured as recently as last week's tipster of the week.
This ability to back up week-on-week is a great sign in punters, as it gives potential followers confidence that they're no one-trick pony.
This time Asiandaveblue1951 recorded a 129% POT, thanks to 3 winners at a mouth-watering average price of $16.80.
And now with 3 profitable weeks on the bounce, plenty of punters will be having something on his next selections.
In a tough week for media experts, race caller Adam Olszanski was having no such trouble.
The Victorian was all over last Thursday's Pakenham meet, with 3 winners at a handsome average price just shy of $6.
This generated a bumper 123% POT for all of Olszanski's faithful followers.
The provincial and country caller can expect a few more fans after this display of tipping.
Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week
Starting with harness racing, and pro punter Blaster was up to his old tricks this week.
The current record-holder with 21 consecutive profitable tipping days was hell-bent on shattering his own streak.
Up until Monday, Blaster had notched up 13 straight profitable days tipping on the trots.
Unfortunately however, he came unstuck on Tuesday after narrowly finishing in the red.
Blaster was on target to break his 21 day streak record
This cracking effort saw him rack up 58% POT over the past 7 days.
In this period he saw 50% of his 32 selections greet the judge, in a superb display of consistency.
It shouldn't come as a surprise. There aren't any better punters if you're judging by consistency.
Flicking over to the greyhound leaderboard and it was Shogun who topped the lot.
This Queenslander had a whale of a week, with 11 of his tips saluting at a huge average price of $14.87.
This led to a 92% POT, and a whopping cash profit just shy of eight grand.
Shogun has been on song of late, with his red-hot form extending beyond the past week.
He's now recorded $12,620 in cash profit from $100 win bets over the past 30 days.
Stellar stuff.
