Albion Park Race 1 Tip #1 Blue Moon Rising $3.40
This pacer has been dying for a draw like this.
He can protect his spot early and take a sit on the right horse and will be hard to beat up the sprint lane late.
I have him marked $3 and anything better would be good shopping.
Albion Park Race 4 Tip #5 Sir Julian $6.00
This horse is flying.
He gets his favourite driver back on tonight and there looks to be some good pressure here over the longer trip.
This will give him every chance to sit back and get over these late.
I have him marked $3.90 and expect to get much better.
Albion Park Race 8 Tip #1 Ideal Tiger $3.00
Pretty skinny race this one and Ideal Tiger comes up with the perfect draw.
He can settle in behind the leader and I think he will be hard to stop from there.
I have him marked $2.40 and am pretty keen on it.

Menangle Race 4 Tip #6 Dracarys $2.00
Dracarys (6) is having her second start for the all-conquering Craig Cross stable.
In her first run since moving East, she just missed out in a reasonable time for this grade. If she takes some improvement out of that effort, surely she will be hard to beat.
Her main danger, Man Hands, is drawn outside her and will ensure that there is a suitable pace up-front for everyone to get their chance.
Menangle Race 5 Tip #1 Renegade Rose $2.50
Renegade Rose (1) saluted in fine style in what was her first start since coming over from the land of the long white cloud.
This three-year-old filly had ten starts in New Zealand for just the one win, but already looks a much-improved racehorse under the expert training of John McCarthy.
Son Todd took the drive first-up and gets the nods again for this assignment. If she runs up to that first-up effort, she will be very hard to knock over here.
Perfect draw from the pole is another big plus.
Menangle Race 8 Tip #10 Island Banner $1.80
Island Banner (10) looks to have struck a winnable race here.
The step-up in distance to the 2300m is very significant here, as she has won three times and placed second once in her six attempts over this distance range.
The wide draw is a little concern but I wouldn't want anyone else driving for me on a Saturday night at Menangle, than Luke McCarthy.
I have her marked at $1.90 so hopefully close to race time we'll be able to get some value.
