Stradbroke Special
Eagle Farm hosts two famous Group 1 races this Saturday with both the J.J. Atkins for 2YO's and The Stradbroke providing plenty of angles for punters to bet into.
In the J.J Atkins, I'm with one that was set up perfectly to win last start, and has plenty of improvement to come off that run.
Whilst in The Stradbroke a gun mare at $21 can rattle home and catch a few of the more fancied runners off guard.

Track Conditions
Eagle Farm is currently rated a Good 4 with the rail out 4m for the entire circuit.
Fine conditions are predicted in Brisbane for the remainder of the week and on Saturday.
As always, refer to the early races for a good guide on track bias.

The Map
-
There looks to be good speed engaged here and a number of these should burn early.
-
Lethal thoughts (18) could be the most likely to carve across early and take it up, with Cocobrew Express (14) also out to find an on-speed position.
-
Basquiat (1) has good natural speed and is likely to use the inside draw to advantage.
-
The genuine tempo could set this up for a run-on profile, with Sharp And Smart (5) well suited in this regard.
The Favourite - Sharp And Smart $4.40
Impressed last start when he flew from well back to just miss by a nose behind the smart Political Debate.
Ridden a touch closer from an ideal draw in gate 5 and he can turn the tables on the Coolmore horse.
G Rogerson is rarely seen anywhere anymore!
This must be a very good one for him to be making the trip from NZ and planning an assault on one of our feature Group 1 2YO races.
"Rogie" is a shrewd customer who would smell blood in the water here.
Best Racing Tips
I'm with Owen County who has been shared around between jockeys lately.
They showed good intent to win last start and got the price.
I'd suggest he has much more ability than the market knows.
Watch betting late.
Sharp And Smart looks just that, after the "flashing light" run last time out behind Political Debate.
Clearly he is very well found by the market now, however could have more improvement to come.
Brereton races for the high profile Rosemont Stud steam who are looking to stand him in their stallion barn post racing.
This will be their best and possibly only chance to achieve a blue ribbon service fee, by winning a Group 1 2YO feature.
Basquiat is an interesting Waller runner who is for a very influential ownership group expecting results.
He was an expensive ($1.9m) yearling and the team will be out to recoup some of the big money paid, with the horse also auditioning for a stud deal.

Expect a genuine speed in this with Rothfire (20), Buffalo River (10) and Apache Chase (3) all noted front runners.
-
Soxagon (11) and Isotope (4) are likely to tuck in just behind the leaders.
-
Race favourite Eleven Eleven (5) looks likely to receive the gun run, with plenty of cover and a nice tow-in.
The Favourite - Eleven Eleven $6.50
Arrives third-up following two excellent runs this prep.
At his latest in the Group 1 Kingsford-Smith Cup he was only 0.3 lengths off the winner Apache Chase.
He can receive a perfect run from gate 5 and explode late to rush home and be in the finish.
Best Racing Tips
I'm with Startantes who looks the value to my eye, with most operators betting North of $21.
She can sit back and watch it all unfold (as is her natural racing pattern) before unleashing hell on them all late.
Eleven Eleven is building nicely to the grand final here following 2 good runs.
Hugh Bowman sticks and must feel the horse is going well enough to win.
Expect he will be another runner who can take advantage of a strong tempo to get home hard.
Soxagon is extremely honest and rarely runs a bad race.
This is a hot field for him, however given the right run just in behind he should be in the finish.
Drawn out in gate 11 could be an advantage at this late stage in the day, if the inside lanes are "off".
Isotope can be ridden closer here after simply getting too far back last start in the Group 1 Kingsford-Smith Cup.
William Pike represents a healthy rider upgrade with his superior skills of timing a run.
The potential change of tactics to be further forward are likely to make a significant difference.
