29/6/20 Best horse racing tips today

Taree hosts Monday racing this week, in what looks to be an extremely challenging seven race card. 

The track is currently rated a Soft 6 and sunshine is forecast for the Mid-North NSW coastal town.

The rail is in the 4m position from the 1000m to the winning post and 3m the remainder, so expect the winners to be coming from on-pace.

Due to the rail position, fields are capped at 12 starters. This gives a good indication into how tight this track is going to play.

Aaron Bullock has the best stats at Taree amongst the riders riding engaged today, as he makes his return to riding.

Bullock has had 38 mounts here in the past 12 months, winning 10 at a strike rate of 26%. 

He's is booked for one ride on today's card, which comes in race 5 on Boom Queen.

Taree Race 3 Tip #8 Syncline $1.50

The Stratum gelding is coming back to County grade today, to try and secure that elusive first win.

Coming into this race first-up after some impressive trials, he will look to build on the solid form he showed at the provincials last preparation.

He performed well to finish second at Newcastle in his career debut, before heading to Wyong where he began awkwardly and was held up to finish behind Innisbrook, Oslo and the promising Space Boy.

He gets the chance to break the maiden today from a nice draw and master jockey Andrew Gibbons aboard.

With the addition of blinkers and of course the ultimate gear change (gelding), he looks primed to walk away a winner.
