Menangle Race 2 Tip #2 Royal Aurora $2.20
Royal Aurora (2) looks to have a bit on these and can bounce back into the winner's circle here.
He won three on the bounce before failing and running last in the Region championships.
He's had some tough runs and struck trouble in his last couple.
However with the good gate here and Luke McCarthy driving, I expect him to be in a prominent position and from there the cream should rise to the top.
His SP profile reads well for this and I'm willing to take any black odds on offer.
Menangle Race 5 Tip #8 Speak No Evil $2.70
Speak No Evil (8) looks a nice solid bet in this.
Her career stats speak for themselves, with a record of 14 starts for 24 wins and a best mile rate of 1:50.9.
Furthermore, the driver/trainer combination of Todd McCarthy and Craig Cross need no introduction.
She possesses enough gate speed to be either leading or very close to it. I have her marked around the $2.50 mark, so the current odds look nice value.
Stablemate Molly Kelly (10) looks the main danger, while Glengarry Rose (6) looks the one that is big value and should go close to running a drum.
Menangle Race 6 Tip #9 The Black Prince $1.90
The Black Prince (9) is going enormous, as is his driver young Tommy Ison.
If he gets a little luck from the wide gate and slips in somewhere forward, I suggest this might be a simple put in take out job.
Wasn't disgraced last start in running second to a smart one and the step up to the 2300m seems way more suitable.
One horse that I haven't totally discounted is Pocket of Terror (10). If the favourite makes a mistake or strikes trouble, then I expect this 5-year-old gelding to be the one spoiling the party.

Menangle Race 4 Tip #10 Everybodylovedray $13.00
Everybodylovedray (10) is a good value chance here.
The five-year-old stepped up to Saturday night company last week, making up some ground from near the tail in the final 400m.
While the wide draw tonight means he is likely to be back last again, this race isn't strong and if there is any mid-race tempo he can finish over the top of his rivals.
Menangle Race 5 Tip #9 Arma Hotshot $8.00
Arma Hotshot (9) is another horse who looks over the odds tonight.
The mare has been consistent in recent times and was super impressive last week, when she finished a narrow second in a very strong Group 3 field.
Lining up against her own sex here, her best performance would put her right in the mix despite the potentially tricky draw.
Menangle Race 6 Tip #9 The Black Prince $1.90
The Black Prince (9) should be able to get the job done in this.
One of the best runners in the state, The Black Prince was very brave last time out as he finished runner up behind the flying Cash n Flow in fast time.
There is no Cash n Flow here, so I think with a sensible drive from Tom Ison the five-year-old can show his class and be too good.
