Big betting stables very active
Our early market mover analysis put another notch on the belt after finding three winners amongst the ten tips listed last week. With starting prices ranging from $4.40 to $11.10 our 26 March report delivered punters 130% profit on turnover or $13 profit from every dollar bet on each selection.
In this week's report the big name stables of Weir, Waller and Snowden are out in force, backing a number of their runners early. These two training operations in particular rarely miss if betting moves come early for their runners, and added confidence can be taken if these selections are hard in betting markets late.
Sunshine Coast tips from early market movers
Speeding To Win
Is the quality in this field and has been understandably backed accordingly. Has been up a while now, however the lethal Team Snowden know what they are doing and the money looks spot on. Is much too classy for this field.
Prom Queen
Smart New Zealand 3yo filly who showed enough to earn a trip here last start when she raced close to the speed over 1200m before being run down in the shadows (still held second). The drop back to 1000m for this suits and although there is a ton of speed engaged she will be near the lead and very hard to get past again.
Sukudo
Blue-blooded colt who they paid $500,000 for. Team Snowden know when to back one and that is case here with a vicious move in betting early. Raced away with it last start at Newcastle to win the maiden over 1400 when very hard in betting markets late. Money suggests he will do it again.
Tumbler
Highly talented mare who the stable love setting up for a betting sting. That is exactly what is happening here and after 43 weeks off they would have her fully wound up and ready to go first up.
Take note that in the previous plunges with her, the stable/connections tend to get the money on early (prior to race day) and hence she does have a tendency to drift late on the day. Advise waiting to chime in then for the best price, if you missed the early market.
Platinum Angel
Well travelled for his last few which includes placing at Morphettville in stakes grade two back before an impressive Caulfield win last start when hard in the market late. Has definitely earned the trip to take on Group 2 level here and the money is on again. Suspect they keep on backing him and could start shorter.
Tougherthantherest
Could be just that based on the solid push early in betting. Has been up for an eternity but obviously loves being raced. Can forgive the last start failure and bank on him returning to the excellent form he showed prior.
The Waller stable is flying and knows when to back one. Can win at odds.
Mooney Valley tips from early market movers
William Thomas
Represents a great SP profile, coming in for solid market support late in betting at his last few outings. Love the way he attacks the line and proved last start he still has the ability to do that, even when encountering difficulty throughout the run.
Huge market confidence about this fellow for this.
Moonlights Choice
Weir and Williams are as lethal as any combination in the country and join forces here with this well backed mare. Arrives first up and must be training down the house at home to warrant the strong betting move. This is another stable that know exactly when to bet and they haven’t missed here. It's usually a good rule to bet with confidence when the Weir camp do!
Sam’s Image
Draws wide in gate 15 however has plenty of tactical speed to offset and cruise across from there to lead or sit outside the leader. Beat a very good one in Nature Strip last start and suspect that is the reason he is trimmed up in betting for this. Can lead and win.
Iconoclasm
Has the picket fence going (has won last 3) and punters always lock onto that. Another from the Weir camp, although on this occasion I believe it is public money and not the stable driving this market move. Is getting down to rock bottom odds now, however cold easily blow them away.
Inn Keeper
Looks to be something well above average and they are taking him through the grades nicely.
Last start sat wide throughout and still had all the answers when chalking up a brave win at Caulfield. Before that was heavily backed late in betting at “The Bool” and sat outside the leader before giving a great kick, to race away from them.
Money looks spot on provided he can overcome the wide draw.
