While many of us mug punters are enduring a 'quiet time' of the year, there is no offseason for the standout duo of Sandgroper and Turfcutter. It's a rare occurrence when you don't find one of these punters near the top of the weekly leaderboard. But this week, they quinella'd the top spots, proving themselves as two of the elite punters at theGreatTipOff.com.

Just pipping Turfcutter in total profit was Bunbury local Sandgroper, who raked in $3,390 from $100 win bets on this tip (the standard stake we use for profit calculation). People who follow this article will know that only a fortnight ago, Sandgroper was once again at the head of the pack, with a huge win of almost $12,000 over the seven day period. While this week's figure wasn't quite as high, this type of consistency is exactly what you're looking for when weighing up which punter's tips to follow. 

During the last Spring Carnival, Sandgroper gave us an insight into his form analysis approach when he was a regular guest columnist for the website. Even though his methods are on the records, his ability to consistently find good winners at juicy prices is mind-boggling. This week was no exception, with the average winning price of Sandgroper's 20 winners coming in just shy of $7.50. 

While the sandy beaches of Bunbury surely inspires Sandgroper, it's the fertile soil around Wagga that must be the talisman of Riverina resident Turfcutter.

With almost three grand in profit from 42 $100 bets representing 70% profit on turnover (POT), Turfcutter had another fantastic week on the punt. Turfcutter's strike rate was especially impressive, with 60% of his win bets saluting in the past seven days. Roots has been consistent of late, and has recorded a profit for 6 of his last 10 days that he tipped.
