Race 7 - Group 1 Doomben Cup - 2000m

• 1 - Zaaki - Beat all-bar Giga Kick fresh then sharply to 1800m 2nd-up, worked early (wide) yet defied them all. One to beat.
  
  
• 3 - Huetor - An overlay ‘patient’’ ride cost him the JRA Plate for mine. Strong on line running Zaaki to .4L in Hollindale and did beat him this race last year. Danger.
  
  
• 2 - Numerian - Excellent 2nd in Aust Cup when pressured on strong speed yet beat all-bar Cascadian. Beat the likes of Zeyrek and Bankers Choice comfortably in hot G1 Queen Elizabeth
  
  
• 12 - Atishu - Way back and went wide yet found line nicely in that Hollindale when month between runs
  
  
• 13 - Kovalica - Flashed home fresh then wide and all honours his in Qld Guineas. Minor setback and now tackles older G1 horses, this was the recipe for Osipenko recently and he was only 1L or so off Anamoe.
