It’s the final turf meeting of the 2022 night series at Pakenham and the racing has been superb throughout.
The rail goes out 9m and the track will be in the soft range.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they get right off the fence and I expect runners to make ground down the outside with momentum.

Pakenham Race 6 #5 Passive Aggressive $1.70
This Fastnet Rock filly appears to have plenty of ability after her impressive debut win at Werribee.
She wasn’t up against much there, but the way she did it was most impressive.
She trialled the house down before that, so the win on debut wasn’t a fluke.
This will be her toughest test to date tonight, but she’s definitely up to it.
There are a few horses in the race with a couple of question marks and Passive Aggressive is the untapped filly who is on the up.
She will get a great run from barrier two and Jordan Childs is riding in great form.
Happy to take the current price and she looks to be the best bet of the night.
Pakenham Race 8 #4 El Cordobes $8.50
There’s a great each-way play in the last race and that’s with El Cordobes.
The turn-of-foot he showed on debut to win was scintillating and if he can replicate that performance tonight, he will be right in the money.
He put in a flat run after that and went to the paddock.
He’s had two Flemington jump-outs this time in and he’s won both, indicating that he’s come back in great order.
He looked to handle the rain-affected track at Werribee with no problems in his latest jump out which will hold him in good stead here.
He can sit in the first half of the field from gate two and get a run in the home straight.
At the current price, he looks a great 1x3 each-way bet to close the meeting and turf season at Pakenham.
