Albury Race 5 Tip #5 Supreme Kitty $9.00

The Joseph and Jones combination saddle up this three-year-old chestnut.

He put in a shocker on a heavy track last start, but I'm willing to forgive that now that he's back on to a drier surface.

His two starts prior were good enough to be winning this and he should be assessed on those runs.

In one of those hit-outs, he managed to run a strong second on a Soft 6 at Gundagai, in a race that has produced three subsequent winners.

Barrier 1 is a huge plus for the gelding, who will be afforded an easy run behind the leaders along the rail.

I'm sure young Pat Scorse will be as hungry as ever to get a win for the boss.

This could be one of the strongest BM58 races you will see all week.

In a race stacked with talent, I've settled with the Danny Williams three-year-old filly.

At her last start she was caught wide for the entire race, but still had the desire to battle on late to finish fourth.

She now finds a race with good early speed engaged and should get speed map favours.

I expect senior jockey Mathew Cahill to give us a peach of a ride and slot in a few pairs back with cover.

She broke her maiden over this track and distance, so we know she'll handle the trip down the highway.
