It was SKY Racing's WA contingent that fared especially well on the punt last week.
We'll sing their praises shortly, but first-up it was New South Welshman Mick Wallace who had the best of it.
The presenter and form analyst was tipping winners left, right and centre.
His biggest inroads came at Wyong on Saturday, where he tipped 4 winners, including two that started in double-figure odds.
It's no wonder he finished up with such a hefty profit.
Next up is WA-based presenter and form expert, Marc Ohlmus.
Ohlmus doesn't provide many tips, but when he does, it's always a smart idea to have something on them.
Especially considering that one of his selections this time was 25/1 shot Mr Mt Walker.
This roughie got up at Pinjarra on Monday, in what was a huge result for Ohlmus and his followers.
For those who reckon this result was a bit of a fluke, think again.
This astute analyst has now recorded 4 consecutive profitable tipping months.
What an effort.
Race caller Anthony Manton also had a week to remember.
His tips at last Friday's Sapphire Coast meet were spot on.
Not only did he steer his followers into 4 of the winners on the card, but one of them was Special Priviledge in Race 3.
This roughie paid $17.80 on the tote, in what was a terrific tip from Manton.
The next from SKY Racing tipster's WA brigade to perform well was Albany race caller Craig Morrison.
We doubt there's anyone in the country who knows the Albany racing scene better than Morrison.
This local knowledge paid dividends this week, after he jagged three good winners at last Friday's meet.
This resulted in a bumper 94% POT for everyone who followed Morrison's tips with even stake.
And finally, we couldn't shout out SKY's WA team and not mention Darren McAullay.
After topping the SKY leaderboatrd last week, McAuallay backed that up with another strong showing.
He tipped 6 of the 12 winners at Monday's Pinjarra meet.
Plenty of punters will be banking on McAullay to repeat the dose once again.
Sky Racing Tips: How did the big guns fare?
While there was so much success at the top end of the leaderboard, SKY Racing's big-name tipsters found themselves at the opposite end.
It was Ron Dufficy who had the best of it however.
The Duff tipped both Royal Celebration and Verry Elleegant at Rosehill on Saturday, and was unlucky not to see Noire get up.
But with favourites Funstar and Life Less Ordinary getting rolled, it was a tricky day for the Duff and most punters.
Despite also tipping Verry Elleegant, Paul Joice didn't fare much better.
He smartly tipped against odds-on fav Funstar in the Vinery Stud Stakes, but unfortunately it wasn't the winner that went with.
Also having a tough day at Rosehill on Saturday was Tony Brassel.
Brassel and SKY's other Sydney metropolitan form experts will appreciate the racing shifting to Randwick for the Championships.
