12/11/20 Horse Racing Tips at Pakenham

Pakenham plays host to a nine race-card on Thursday night, featuring a few maiden gallopers who look to have a bright future ahead.

The track is currently rated a Good 4 but with the chance of thunderstorms in the morning, we could see a minor downgrade by race one. 

The rail is out 6m for the entire circuit and at this set up, most horses will get their chance to run on and fight out the finish.

This gelding went around in a hot trial at Cranbourne back in March of this year.

The winner of that hit-out, Adesanya, has since been sent to Hong Kong and looked like Black Caviar when bolting in for a convincing victory on debut.

The runner-up in that trial, Portland Sky, has also won a few races since which further franks that form-line.

Connections of this Phillip Stokes trained galloper waited 7 months before his race debut at Mornington, where he put in an encouraging performance to finish 2.4 lengths fourth.

The winner of that race, Hilverston, looks to have plenty of ability so the form from that race should hold up.

Expect him to take good improvement into his second career run here and breakthrough for his maiden victory.
