Wyong hosts a cracking eight race card on Friday, which is highlighted by the Listed Wyong Gold Cup.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and sunshine is forecast for the NSW Central Coast region.
The rail is in the true position, which will slightly favour those horses on-pace.
From the stewards
The horse I want to mention in the pre-steward's report is Partners, running around in race 8.
The Nicconi gelding had been racing in good form leading into his last start failure at Rosehill.
He was placed under pressure when straightening in that clash and didn't travel as strongly as he did in previous starts. This was mainly due to the heavily rain affected track.
The trainer stated that he was satisfied with the post race condition of the gelding and opted to give him a freshen.
Back to a good track for this clash, I expect him to bounce back.
Below is Josh's best bet for Wyong as well as his quaddie numbers.

The Star Witness gelding is in some great form heading into this race.
Last start, he reeled the opposition in easily at Taree. He sat just off the leaders before streaking away for a comprehensive 2 length victory.
He had his first go at Wyong two starts back and ran very well behind Vienna Rain, which is brilliant form for this race.
The gelding loves the mile and hasn't missed a place at the distance in five starts. He is nice and fit and the prospect of another good track brings him even further into calculations.
From the draw, expect Buckley to sit midfield just off the rail, ready to pounce.
With even luck in the run, he will take a stack of beating in the straight.
