It was an interesting weekend of racing with Randwick having the first Group 1 of the Spring.
Mick Gannon has run his eyes over the replays and found some gems to throw into your blackbook.
They are worth following over their next coming starts.

Race 4 - Miss You Ella
Once again, Miss You Ella was desperately unlucky.
After opening at $26 and SP'ing at $15, she clearly started over the odds.
She found herself stuck on the rails, running against the day's pattern and was boxed in until the final 75m.
With a rise in distance, she's set to break through soon.
If we're lucky, we'll get another generous price next time out.
Race 6 - Silmarillion
Silmarillion defied the track pattern, fighting on bravely despite being one of the few on-speed runners to feature in the finish.
She outperformed her SP and looks like a horse to keep an eye on, especially second-up and even more so third-up.
There's more to come from her this preparation.
Race 9 - Aureas Angel
After being unwanted in the market at $51, Aureas Angel returned with a promising performance, finishing 5th despite being stuck in restricted room the entire straight.
First-up runs don’t always tell the full story and with improvement expected, she could be a great value bet as her prep continues.
Keep an eye out for her at big odds next time out.
