Prior to that first-up run, he did enough to score in a BM70 over 1400m before tackling better grade last start. In that clash he ran strongly through the line when finishing in front of Papal Warrior and Re Edit, who he faces here again.
He peaks here third-up and gets to a mile, an identical set up which saw him score a dominant victory last preparation on a good track in Melbourne.
From the good gate, he will make his own luck from a near pace position. Being by Ocean Park (NZ), he'll relish the step to a mile and the spacious Randwick track.

The most impressive aspect to her profile on Saturday are her trials this prep. Her latest on a bone dry track couldn’t have been more eye catching, after sitting off the tempo and trucking to the line.
Look for her to land in the first half of the field and take luck out of the equation. She profiles well first-up and can go on with it this prep in the Princess Series.
She has a lethal turn of foot, matched with the ability to sit on-pace and handle pressure. Cracking filly.
