The Team Snowden gelding just jumps off the form guide here.
An in-form Blake Shinn combines with a proven third-up performer, with the track conditions to suit.
His first two runs this preparation have been on rain-affected tracks, which haven't been to his liking.
With a third-up record of two starts, a win and a second, the Smart Missile gelding looks ready to peak and is well suited on top of the ground.
With two career wins over this distance and the gun draw in barrier four, look for Shinn to sit off the pace and blow them away late.
The gelding from the Mick Kent stable started his career on the right foot, with an impressive debut win.
That was followed by an equally impressive second career start in Saturday grade when running third over the Caulfield 1400m.
The son of Master of Design will be at peak fitness third-up and looks a class above his rivals here.

Scored impressively at her last start over the Newcastle 1400m. Despite being held up in the straight, the mare by So You Think proved too strong over the concluding stages.
Her last second-up performance was a solid second over the Kembla 1400m when she beat home two classy gallopers in Cormac and Almighty Crown.
The rise in distance to the mile is favourable, given she won at the 1850m at her last preparation.
Blake Shinn takes the ride from barrier three and will be able to sit off the pace to enjoy a soft run in transit, which will ensure she's fighting out the finish.
This mare by Dreamscape was luckless at her last start when running a 0.2 length second.
Back on top of the ground and with Hugh Bowman to ride, expect to see this girl improve with conditions to suit.
Expect Bowman to push forward from the wide barrier and find a spot one off the rails behind the leaders.
From this position, she'll be perfectly poised to strike as they turn for home.
With a few key switches in her favour, Hammond Lane will prove hard to beat.

This filly has proved a money muncher for her loyal supporters.
With a heap of luckless runs in her short career, the Chris Waller trained galloper looks set to repay her fans in a big way here.
Off the back of a spell and an impressive trial, the daughter of All American gets the perfect draw in barrier five and with even luck, will put her rivals to the sword.
Her first-up record doesn't read well on paper. However, both runs were full of merit and if she's anywhere near her best, she'll be winning this.
In a good push for the filly's chances, jockey Glen Colless is again booked to ride.
