Only one member of Australia's racing media finished in the Top 3 profit makers in May. Ray Thomas from SuperRacing.com.au was that person delivering almost $7,000 profit from $100 win bets to punters following his tips over the 31 day period.
Thomas' effort pushed Super Racing up to be the third highest profiting racing media group in May amongst rival racing websites, television broadcasters and radio commentators alike.
We calculate the profit from each racing media source by aggregating the combined profit of the three highest profit makers in any given month. Like always, we only take best bets published unless otherwise advised by the tipster.
The site topping the list in May was racing website Racenet.com.au via it's three highest profiting tipsters.
Laurie Sainsbury and Clinton Payne were the two key profit makers that drove the result for RaceNet in May. Sainsbury had only the one win at massive odds of $34.40 giving his followers a tasty 129% profit on turnover (POT). Payne carried on his winning ways making 77% POT, finding no less than 7 winners from 15 best bets. Incredibly Payne came under notice after he made punters a huge 256% POT from 17 tips back in March - (read here Defying The Odds). At that time his 12 months POT was a freakish 38%. Two months down the track that number has hardly moved at 37%
