Rosehill is the venue, where the track is currently rated a Soft 5 and the Listed Mayors Cup headlines the ten race card.

Was impressive last start when back and wide on a rain affected track over 1200m.
The step up to 1400m is ideal and from barrier 8 with the 1.5kg claim for Dylan Gibbons, I expect him to be ridden more forward to land in the first half of the field.
A repeat of his last start run has him going very close and if he improves off it, he should be putting them away.
Rosehill Race 1 #2 Celestial Legend $3.00
On what is a tricky Rosehill card, I am keen to get the cash early with the smart 2YO Celestial Legend.
He was outstanding on debut behind the JJ Atkins favourite Kandinsky Abstract.
The Les Bridge trained runner reeled off the meeting's best last 6, last 4 and last 2 length sectionals against the on-pace meeting bias.
He strips fitter for this clash and draws a lovely inside barrier to settle a touch closer in the run. He gets 1.5kg off with the in-form Gibbons taking the ride.
He will start sub $2.50.
Rosehill Race 5 #12 Thornycroft $19
This 3YO gelding has been racing well in 2023.
He's had a spaced-out preparation and has gradually stepped up in distance.
At his latest start over the 2100m at Wyong, he looked the winner on the bend but failed to handle the corner.
He swung very wide, checked off heels and tapered on his run.
He now drops back to 2000m here in a weak BM72, gets Regan Bayliss aboard and drops down to 54kg.
From the draw, he can land midfield with cover before being one of the strongest late.
The good track will suit come Saturday and he looks a great each way bet.
