Not only did the punters have the best of it in March, but they came back for more in April.

The cash profit and Profit on Turnover (POT) categories were both dominated by punters, who really kicked away at the top.

However, there were some impressive media performers in both categories, including a bronze medallist for POT.

Discover who that was, as well as all of April's other top performers below. 

Best Horse Racing Tipster: Highest Cash Profit

With an enormous $11,840 in cash profit from $100 win bets, it was Syland who bagged the gold in April.

This Sydneysider surged to the top of the leaderboard thanks to an incredible 180 winners.

These came at a generous average price of $5.10, so it's really no surprise that Syland finished up with such a big haul.

The silver went to Queenslander Kendo7, who fell just short of the gold with a mammoth $11,290 in cash profit.

While Kendo7 didn't tip quite as many winners as Syland, he made up for it with his average winner price.

He jagged 47 winners at a thumping average price of $7.13.

He had Love From Lucy to thank for that mostly, who saluted at Morphettville at mind-boggling 120/1 odds.

Rounding out the podium with $10,840 in cash profit from $100 win bets was fellow Queenslander Thedott.

From sunny Cairns in North Queensland, Thedott found 72 winners at an average price of $5.82 for his followers.

This bloke is certainly in some fine form at the moment.

He has now found a profit in 5 of his previous 6 tipping weeks.

Nick Quinn deserves a wrap for his stellar showing in the cash profit category.

It's rare for media tipsters to feature here, as they are limited by the amount of tips they can submit.

But that didn't stop Quinny, who recorded the 4th most cash profit with a hefty $8,030 from $100 win bets.

He bagged 81 winners, giving readers of the Herald Sun plenty to cheer about.

Leading the way in the profit on turnover category for April was New South Welshman Scomars.

By an odd coincidence, Scomars was also one of the tipsters of the month in April 2019.

Or maybe this isn't a coincidence at all...

Scomars clearly brings his A-game in the Sydney Autumn Carnival, and this year he tipped the winner of the Doncaster Mile Nettoyer at $45 odds.

This winner and a handful of others helped deliver a whopping 246% POT for Scomars.

Next up is Adrock, who clocked off with an even 100% POT.

He bagged 17 winners at a juicy average price of $7.40.

He's sure to have plenty of followers going forward.

Bringing home the bronze was Cairns race caller for SKY Racing, John Forsythe.

Forsythe nabbed 12 winners from just 24 selections at Cairns in April.

Seven of these winners came on the very last day of the month, where Forsythe tipped the 7 of the 8 races on the card.

This contributed to his overall POT for the month of 97%.

Best Media Experts by POT

Kicking off the best of the rest of the media experts is Racenet's Stephen Brassel, who fared well at Randwick in April.

Five of his winners came at the track and included double-figure starters Splintex and Snitz.

Up next is the editor of fan-favourite racing publications Winning Post and Best Bets, Tony Kneebone.

Kneebone's 7 winners saluted at an average win price of $7.36, demonstrating his ability to find some good value.

Michael Charge had another ripping month in April.

The North Queensland presenter for SKY couldn't stop tipping winners, delivering a bumper 71% POT for his followers.

Rounding out the podium is a pair of race callers, Anthony Manton and James Tait.

As well as both calling NSW's provincial racing, both Manton and Tait clearly know how to tip a winner.

Manton had success at Gosford and Wagga, while Tait cleaned up at Queenbeyan and Canberra.

The pair will look to extend their cracking form into May.
