This gelding was desperately unlucky last start and looks set to bounce back in style here.
Jumping from the widest gate in barrier 12, he was hampered by another horse when leaving the gates and was then forced to sit wide without cover throughout.
His effort to finish 0.2-lengths off the eventual winner was full of merit and from the better draw this time, he looks well suited.
Look for jockey Brenton Avdulla to ride positively from barrier 3 and push forward to lead.
Given how strong he was to the line after a torrid run last start here, the extra 50m looks suitable.
With even luck this time around, expect the son of Turffontein to be too strong for his rivals.

He impressed first-up last prep over the same track and appears to be in better form this time around.

He has moderate speed drawn inside him for this clash and maps to lead comfortably, which will allow him to control the tempo.
The high possibility of a rain affected track is a plus and I expect him to be too strong out in front.
