After missing out on their stand-alone Saturday meeting last month, racing returns to Hawkesbury this Thursday with a solid eight-race card scheduled.
The track is currently rated a Soft 5, with light rain forecast.
The rail is in the true position, which will give all horses a chance.
Josh has identified three races on today's card that represent good betting opportunities.

From the stewards
There are plenty of runners who have featured in the pre-steward's report for this meeting.
Most notably is the Waterhouse/Bott trained Purposeful Miss. She finished 2.9 lengths seventh at Newcastle last start and a post-race examination found the filly to be tying up.
Considering the trouble she faced, it's surprising the horse managed to finished as close to the winner as she did.
With even luck, I'm expecting a much-improved run from this filly here.
Jockey to follow
Of the jockeys riding today, Koby Jennings appears a standout again given his impressive record at Hawkesbury.
Jennings has had 15 rides in the past 12 months at the track, recording 4 wins for a 27% strike rate.
The gun hoop has seven rides on today's card, with his best chance coming in race four on Star of Success.
The Ocean Park filly is having her third race start and looks set to break her maiden status today.
Last start at Newcastle she beat all bar one runner home, with a decent gap back to third and fourth.
Although she was second best in that hit-out, she showed good acceleration late in the piece to suggest that the 1300m here will be ideal.
She's drawn well in barrier 4 and is set to get a dream run up on-speed.
Bjorn Baker will have her fit as a fiddle third-up and with Jay Ford avoiding trouble out in front, she should be very hard to beat.
I have this filly marked a $2.10 chance, so at the $2.35 quote she is the best bet of the day.
Race 5: 4, 1, 5, 2, 3
Race 6: 1, 3, 5, 2
