The betting for the 2019 edition is dominated by interstate raiders Spright, Cool Passion and Jamaican Rain.
Maca Lil looks like the best of the locals, but appears to be outclassed by the talented runners from across the border.
On paper there looks to be a lack of early speed, which will play into the hands of the on-pace runners.

Ran an unlucky second to Sunlight in the Group One William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley and then found himself too far back in the slowly run Group Two Sapphire Stakes at Randwick.
She's clearly the best sprinter in this field but has drawn barrier 15 in a race that looks to lack strong tempo.
Given the lack of early speed engaged, she has a huge task ahead of her.
Stuck to her task in the Group One Canterbury Stakes, finishing 2.5-lengths behind gun Trapeze Artist.
She has the form and has drawn perfectly to take advantage of the predicted moderate tempo.
It looks likely she'll get the run of the race up on the pace and if that's the case, she'll be hard to beat.

She does her best work on wet-tracks and at Group One level on a dry track she looks to be exposed. Pass!

From the rails draw, look for her to push forward and hold a more forward position in the run, likely to be sitting just off the leader's heels.
She ticks plenty of boxes and looks well over the odds at $20.
A talented filly who won her first two starts this prep, before finding two better over 1100m at Morphettville.

Her first-up run was impressive when flashing home from near last, but with limited speed engaged it's unlikely she'll be able to repeat the dose.

She has shown plenty of ability in her home state and there is no reason to question that form won't hold up here.
She's not as talented as the likes of Spright and Cool Passion, but with the on-pace favours she'll be in this for a long way.
