Punters are treated to a massive race day at Gosford this Wednesday, highlighted by the Group 3 Belle Of The Turf.

TheGreatTipOff.com team will be in attendance at the Entertainment Grounds in West Gosford and have sponsored the fourth race on the card.

The race is a Benchmark 64 and has progressive talent set to contest the race. 

Both GTO resident Sydney experts Michael Gannon and Luke Hovhanesian have done the form and give their insight to how the race will play out.

A race smashed by scratching’s with 8-runners coming out, leaves us with a field of 8.

Bengalla Bay & Rupertaar will lead them up, Bedtime Stories, Native Rock and Stormborn to settle behind them.

Making ground is never easy at Gosford, but with a rain affected track and enough speed on, there is a chance we'll see one fly over the top here. 

Race favourite Rupertaar was a good winner last start, but was tiring late. The extra 100m on a Heavy track is of some concern, but the 1.5kg claim for Reece Jones is a big plus. It’s likely Bengalla Bay will drive her mad, which could set it up for something mid-field or beyond.

A runner who will relish the early pressure is Deep Crystal. This lightly raced mare handles all surfaces and has the ability to blow these away. In fact two of three best ratings have come on Heavy tracks, so all signs point to her handling today’s conditons.

She's had two trials off a 220-day spell, with the first being an impressive Hawkesbury hit out finishing alongside talented Godolphin filly Cloudy, with a 3.2-Length gap to another Godolphin runner Tammerlane, who opened favourite at Randwick on Saturday.

Deep Crystal then went to Kembla for a soft trial, where she sat behind the pack, before making good ground past the post.

From barrier 5, look for Regan Bayliss to sit three pairs back in the running line, before peeling to the middle of the track and flying at them late.
