Sydney midweek racing heads to Canterbury racecourse on Wednesday and Mick Gannon has jumped into the form to give punters his best bets nice and early before prices get crunched.

Canterbury is a track where Mick likes to have a genuine crack and he's found some nice opportunities for punters to get stuck into early betting markets.

Race 1 #4 Tastula $4.00

Arrives here fourth-up at peak fitness and looks well suited this time given she was 1500-2000m last time out. 

That was a great platform building run when they went some 4L slower to the 600m on a day where on-pace runners where at a significant advantage. 

Drawn well over the 1900m and at peak fitness, look for her to settle more forward this time and with any luck, find the advantage of rails in run. 

Ticks plenty of boxes and is a great bet to kick off the day. 

Race 3 #10 Joyner $2.80

Finds a very winnable BM64 here and has drawn to perfection. 

In a race devoid of speed, she'll lead or sit leaders back for a great run in transit and only needs to run up to her last two starts to be winning this. 

She's had two runs this prep, followed by a nice tick over trial and looks set to run a career peak race here 3rd-up.
