We’re off to Bendigo, the nursery of champions, this Wednesday!
After a strong week at Flemington, it’s time to dive into some great bets on the Bendigo card.
With the rail out 4m, I expect an on-pace advantage, so positioning forward of midfield will be key in evenly run races.
Let’s jump right into a standout bet!

Jack continues to nail his best bets at a good rate!
This is an exciting prospect for the Corstens & Larkin team, who boast a solid 12% strike rate over their last 50 starters, with 36% of those finishing in the top 3.
They’re in top form!
Why does this bet stand out?
Last Start: Jumped well but was eased back to second-last, finishing just 0.9L off the winner. It was an on-pace advantage day, and Harry's Yacht defied the pattern by closing strongly.
Jockey Switch: Damien Lane takes the reins this time. He’s known for his skill in getting the best from his mounts, which will be crucial as Harry’s Yacht hung in around the 200m last start.
Gear Change: The stable noted the horse’s tendency to hang in and have adjusted his headgear to help him run straighter.
Despite hanging in last time, this gelding reeled off the fourth-fastest last 1000m of the meeting at Bendigo.
If the stable has fine-tuned his focus, the headgear works, and Lane keeps him straight, I’m confident Harry’s Yacht has every chance to win this Class 1 comfortably.
