The rail is back in the True position, after being out 12m at the last meeting, where runners tended to move off the inside rail, particularly later in the day.

In Sydney, it’s Rosehill, and ratings are for a Soft/Heavy track.

There’s plenty of rain predicted for Thursday, and one Bureau is even forecasting "0-to-35mm" on Friday—seriously?!

At this stage, minimal rain is expected on race day (Saturday). What a time to be alive!

Sandown (Hillside) Race 3 No. 7 – Zloites

This smart mare was very impressive on debut, finishing behind a subsequent Group 2 winner, and then delivered a fabulous return win after 131 weeks off, flying home against a track bias.

She came here 2nd-up and ran an excellent last 400m (and overall time) to win again.

She’s one to watch.

Rosehill Race 8 No. 1 – Broadsiding

Resumes here, and this outstanding colt zoomed home late in his trial.

He’s coming off four amazing wins and even passed key rival Linebacker at Randwick in one of them (G1 Champagne Stakes/1600m), coming from last on a very tough track where those on the inside lanes were hugely advantaged.
