Deane Dutches his way to another profit
Leading Victorian form analyst Deane Lester once again showed the value of Dutch betting at Caulfield on Saturday.
He used it to great effect to generate a 30% Profit on Turnover for his followers.
Arguably Australia's most respected form judge, Deane regularly employs Dutch betting as part of his staking plan exclusive to his tip packages at theGreatTipOff.com.
Dutch betting is a strategy commonly employed by professional punters, where they back multiple horses in a race in order to turn a profit.
And of the two winners Deane secured at Caulfield on Saturday, both came in races where he tipped multiple horses.
The crucial example came in the Group 3 McNeil Stakes, where Artorius was Deane's best bet of the day.
However he also tipped the longer-priced Bruckner as a saver-bet, in case Artorius wasn't ready to go first up.
While Artorius came with a slashing run to finish second, he couldn't overhaul Bruckner at fat $12.60 odds.
Deane's two tips finished one-two, to return a $17.90 quinella for any punters who threw it on.
But it was Deane Lester's use of Dutch betting that really impressed.
