Mitch Beer has a stack of chances today and I think Sunrise Ruby is the pick of them.
I really like the way this race looks to shape up for her chances and from barrier 1, I expect jockey Jordan Mallyon to position the filly just in behind the speed.
She was eye catching when winning on debut, showing that she can quicken off a hot tempo.
With luck late in the running, I expect her to be too classy for her rivals!
Best Bets at Albury Race 4 #3 High Advice $4.20
This locally trained gelding by Good Journey finds a suitable race to notch up win number two.
I'm totally forgiving his last effort at Canberra, where the track was a deadset bog fest.
Back onto a firmer deck today is a big positive.
I struggled to find a leader in this race, so we may see Blaike give him a squeeze from barrier 6 to take up the running.
He relishes the mile, having had two starts over the distance for one win and a third.
Look for Blaike to get a few cheap sectionals and kick away at the turn!
