Eagle Farm Race 3 Tip #6 Raging Pole $2.80
This gelding raced in some quality three-year-old races earlier this year, where he chased home the likes of The Odyssey and Command ‘N’ Conquer.
He's now well into this prep and will be fitter third-up after resuming without a trial.
This son of Better Than Ready is set to peak in this race and is looking to improve on a solid career record (15:3-2-3).
He does tend to get back in his races and from barrier 5 here, expect him to be able to find cover. That position in the run looks ideal in a small field of seven, and he'll be poised to strike on the home turn.
Michael Cahill can work him into the race on straightening and use the big home straight to overhaul the opposition and get the money.

Canterbury Race 5 Tip #9 Harto $2.60
I'm keen to see the blue-blood mare from the Waller stable back at the races, following a dramatic first-up return.
The daughter of More Strawberries was a very well supported favourite when resuming in a Saturday BM78, before she missed the start by 3 lengths.
She was able to gather herself in transit, before hitting the line well to be defeated 3.1 lengths, making up good ground from the back.
The form from the race has held up well, with Athiri and Jay Jay Dar subsequently filling the numbers in a BM88 at Randwick.
The mare was sent back to the trials where she fired out from the barriers over 900m, before chasing home the very fast Villami in what was an exceptional piece of work.
In positive signs for punters, she won her second-up hit-out last preparation, she drops back to a midweek BM72 and they have found Nash Rawiller to take the ride which signals intent from the stable.
She excels over 1100m and brings impeccable SP profile into a race like this, having been backed heavily at her last start.
From the wide gate here, watch her roll forward and take luck out of the equation, before proving very hard to beat.
She is a progressive mare with upside in a race that lacks noticeable depth.

Flemington Race 1 #3 General Beau $2.40
I expect this son of Brazen Beau to make a winning start to his career here.
I've seen him jump-out on two occasions and was particularly impressed by his most recent one down the Flemington straight.
He ran under his own steam the entire way in that work-out and looked to cover the ground well.
That effort and the fact he looked to handle the straight comfortably, makes him a great bet to kick off the day.
