Race 6 – No.5 SHE’S AN ARTIST – $1.60

Hard to see her getting beaten.

She’s won her last two dominantly, including a dazzling win down the straight here last start where she smashed the clock and looked a horse well above benchmark grade.

There were slight queries around the soft ground and drop to 1200m, but nothing in her recent form suggests either will be an issue.

She’s in the zone and looks better than these.

Should be winning again.

Value Bet

Race 7 – No.16 BEARINGS – $12

A genuine stayer with strong form in NSW, Bearings now looks ready to fire stepping out to the 2500m for the first time.

She’s a backmarker who’ll settle near last, but the spacious Flemington track and forecast tempo should give her every chance to storm over the top late.

Her last few efforts have all had merit, and this race sets up nicely for a strong closer.
