After a few weeks where the pro punters have dominated the top ten for most profit, the media experts made some inroads over the past 7 days.

Leading the way was popular Victorian race caller Adam Crettenden, who secured no less than $3,250 in cash profit for punters who followed his tips with $100 win bets.

A man of many talents, Crettenden has been immersed in the racing industry for a few decades now.

As well as his race calling and tipping, he has also written a book about Subzero, arguably Australia's favourite racehorse. 

But it's his tips that our readers will be most interested in.

And the great news is that Cretters had a cracking week out in country Victoria.

In particular, he cleaned up at the Friday meet at Kyneton, tipping six winners from the race card.

This included his best bet Young Hostess saluting at $6.70, as well as $18 pop Roger's Day romping to victory.

Overall, Crettenden's stats over the past seven days show 9 winners at a phenomenal strike rate of 53%.

Unsurprisingly, this led to a whopping 191% POT. 

Remember, this profit on turnover stat means that for every dollar wagered, Crettenden's tips resulted in $1.91 profit.

You rarely see media tipsters having better weeks than this. 

As good as Cretters' week was, it wasn't quite enough to take him to the top.

Sitting at the summit was pro punter Doctorevil, who is starting to make a habit of it.

In fact, this is the fourth time by our count that Doctorevil has taken out the top spot on the weekly leaderboard this year.

There's no doubt that this North Queenslander has emerged as one of the most consistent pro punters of 2019.

This week, he found 8 winners at a ripping average price of $12.66.

These winners generated an impressive total profit just shy of $5K from $100 win bets.

The standout selection from Doctorevil would have to be I Am Eloquent, which got home at $44.90 in the Listed Jim Moloney Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday.

Doctorevil's big win

One media tipster who put smiles on the faces of his followers was Matt Jones.

This Daily Telegraph racing journo tipped his way into a rich vein of form over the previous seven days.

He secured no less than 22 winners, at a solid strike rate and average price.

This generated a cash profit of $2,630 for everyone who followed Jones's free tips with $100 bets.

But what will have punters excited is Jones's hot-streak.

He's now had four profitable tipping days in-a-row, and is showing no signs of slowing down. 

Matt Jones' tipping streak 

The final tipster who deserves a mention is Jack Smallhorn from the Australian Associated Press.

This racing producer and form analyst secured a profit of $1,630 and 102% POT in the past week.

But his good form doesn't stop there.

Over the past 30 days, Smallhorn is showing just shy of $2K in profit, at a thumping 87% POT.

While this New South Welshman doesn't have a huge tipping output, he certainly knows how to find a winner with the tips he does put out.
