Tamworth Race 2 #10 Star Impact $4.00
This lightly raced mare is set to run a career peak here.
She returns to a drier surface and has the blinkers going first time which holds her in good stead for this.
Her career best runs have come on Good 4 tracks, so it'll pay to forgive her last start 8th of 12 on a Heavy 9.
She's drawn well in barrier 3 and can land leaders back for the run of the race.
If the blinkers can improve her a length or so, she could easily win.
Tamworth Race 3 #2 Geisel $3.40
This son of Teofilo returns to the mile, a trip where he's produced some of his best career ratings.
He's returned in good order this prep, running 3.1L off the winner over 1000m, before showing good fight to run 1.8L 4th, over 1280m
The step up to the mile 3rd up is ideal. Although he's drawn wide, he should be able to cross his rivals to find the front and give a huge sight.
