Grafton Race 1 #1 Eyes To Eye $5.00
This former Sydney trained galloper was super in victory last start.
He was well suited stepping out to the 1526m on that occasion and will eat up every bit of the 1608m today.
He returns to a drier surface which is more to his liking.
He's drawn poorly in barrier 10, but has shown to be versatile in his racing pattern before, so it's only of minimal concern.
The 2kg claim for Jasper Franklin is a big plus and will allow him to be ridden aggressively if so desired.
His best is certainly good enough to be winning this and with even luck, he'll kick us off a winner in the first.
Grafton Race 4 #8 Ragman $6.00
This looks a race in two between the short priced favourite Enterprise Legend and Ragman.
Enterprise Legend will be well supported given he's from the famous Freedman stable, but I think he's vulnerable today.
Ragman on the other hand has shown plenty of grit and determination at his past two starts and can win from a better draw today.
He's jumped from wide barrier his last two, done all the work and still manage to run a place, so from barrier 5 and with the 2kg claim for Jasper Franklin, he'll get a better time of it today.
I expect Ragman and Enterprise Legend to draw clear the final 100m, with Ragman to show his grit late and salute for a well earned victory.
