Media experts & Pro punters share spoils
Horse Racing tipster of the week
We saw a tipping masterclass from both the media experts and pro punters this week.
Both groups were sitting pretty at the summit of the weekly leaderboard, thanks to some impressive returns.
Top 10 tipsters of the week
Kicking away to grab this week's gold was Tony Rickards from Winning Post.
A man of many talents, Rickards showed what a good eye for horses he has after he recorded a monster 323% POT.
This was thanks to a sublime display of tipping at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
Rickards bagged 5 of the 9 winners on the card, including $24 shot Alsvin in Race 8.

What Rickards' followers will know is this is far from a fluke.
The form analyst has now amassed $8,590 in cash profit from 662 $100 win bets over the past year.
This makes him the best performing media expert by this measure.
What an effort.
The other standout performance from a media expert came from Alan Pearce.
Pearce is also from the Winning Post stable, proving the information packed racing form guide is giving it's readers a stack of value.
His Saturday racing tips are sure to be even more popular now, after he bagged 4 of the winners at Randwick.
What was so impressive was the value Pearce was able to find.
His 4 winning tips got home at a juicy average winning price of $5.90.
No wonder he finished up with a fat 162% POT.
Also cleaning up at the major metro meets on Saturday was pro punter Methoman.
This Sydneysider tipped 5 winners across Randwick and Moonee Valley, 3 of which saluted in double figure odds.
Delving deeper into his stats, and Methoman snapped up these 5 winners at a strike rate of 28% and an average price just shy of $13, generating a bumper 261% POT.
This shouldn't come as a surprise.
Methoman is now sitting on an all-time profit in excess of $10K, thanks to a tipping strategy that focuses on finding value.
In fact, two-thirds of his winners have greeted the judge at odds greater than $7.
Talk about value.
Methoman clearly has an eye for a roughie
Also showing exactly why he's listed as a pro punter was Butterfly.
A veteran at theGreatTipOff.com, this Victorian is in some of the form of his tipping career.
Butterfly bagged no less than 21 winners this week, at an average price of $6.24.
This led to a 147% POT, and an enormous cash profit of $7,800 if you followed all of his tips with $100 bets.
On top of that, Butterfly has now notched up 7 consecutive profitable tipping days.

Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week
Starting with the trotters, and Victorian race caller Luke Humphreys showed his class as a tipster this week.
The SKY Racing man saw 9 of his 24 selections get home, at a handsome average price of $5.
This generated an 88% POT.
But that doesn't tell the whole story.
That's because 2 of Humphreys' best bets got home, including $16.50 hope Genuine Excuse in Mildura.
This is reflected on the actual stake leaderboard, where Humphreys' POT surges up to 132%.
Tremendous tipping.
It was a similar story on the greyhound leaderboard, with SKY Racing caller Ron Knight faring best.
His winning tips saluted at a staggering strike rate of 67%, and an average price of $3.46.
This translated into a ripping 131% POT.
If that wasn't enough, Knight's latest effort also consolidated a 6-month tipping streak.
Just further evidence that race callers make some of the best tipsters.
