Doomben Race 3 Tip #12 Tycoon Evie $1.70
This Written Tycoon filly sat at the flanks of star galloper Kisukano last start and fought on very well to finish third.
They certainly sizzled in that 1200m clash, recording a time of 1.09.62 which was the equivalent of more than 2 lengths faster than the Open Handicap run on the same day.
The top 3 came home in a strong 34.29 seconds for the last 600m, suggesting there was plenty of merit in their runs.
She's nominated for this Saturday’s meeting at Eagle Farm, so you'd think this midweek three-year-old maiden should be an easy kill for her.
Look for her to settle close to the lead and from there expect her to be too explosive for them at the end.

Sandown Hillside Race 6 Tip #4 Cadre Du Noir $2.40
I'm confident in the chances of the lightly raced Maher & Eustace import here, who drops back to midweek BM70 grade.
His overall record (7:1-2-3) reads superb and his only non placing resulted in a 1.3 length fourth on a British synthetic track over 1600m.
Both starts on Australian soil this preparation have seen him beaten less than half-a-length, and on both occasions he finished runner up against capable Saturday class opposition.
Last start saw him posted three-wide without cover for the majority of the 2000m, before fighting to the line over the concluding stages at Flemington.
He now presents here third-up and rising to a mile-and-a half, which he should relish.
From the inside draw, look for Ben Melham to roll forward to either lead or box seat.
He's a proven on-pace wet tracker, who will be suited by the on-pace pattern that the Sandown circuit often favours.
He's short enough, but should be winning with even luck in the run.

Kensington Race 5 Tip #7 Plaquette $4.60
In a race where Big Parade holds a good market percentage, I am keen to bet around him and be with the Godolphin mare at an appealing price.
The four-year-old resumes first-up from a spell after a very encouraging trial behind stablemates Knickpoint and Hilo, who are Saturday class performers.
The time for the 800m gallop was good, and she cruised down the outside without being asked for an effort.
She brings good form into a BM72 having placed behind Best Stone and Group 1 winner Shout The Bar last preparation.
She went on to defeat Regimental Band at Newcastle over 1200m, displaying a dazzling turn of speed on a dry track.
The mare gets a preferred dry surface (4:2:0:0) and they have found James McDonald to take the reins, which signals intent first-up from a spell.
From barrier 4 she will camp in behind what looks to be a very fast tempo, before proving awfully hard to hold out in the concluding stages.
