Best bets on Hawkesbury Rowley Mile Day
Hawkesbury hosts a cracking eight race card on Thursday, highlighted by the Listed Rowley Mile.
The track is currently rated a Heavy 8 and with sunshine forecast in the lead-up, punters should anticipate racing on a Soft track.
The rail is in the True position, which I expect to slightly favour those in the front half of the field.

Game Royal in Race 1 is a horse that looks a big improver here today.
The Dundeel gelding was slow to begin from an inside barrier on debut. He then over-raced at the home turn and on straightening, but once he balanced up he hit the line well.
Expect a notable improvement here, as the combination of race experience and step-up to 1300m should prove a winning formula.

Hawkesbury Race 5 Tip #4 Chianti $5.50
The I Am Invincible filly makes her return for the first time since her failure in the Group 2 Percy Sykes in April.
In that run, she did herself no favours when over-racing whilst she was wide without cover.
On straightening, she got into a bumping dual with the eventual winner, Away Game, and faded fast.
She lines up in a provincial Class 1 for her return here, which is a significant drop in grade.
She looks to have furnished into a nice three-year-old and is raring to go off the back of two nice trials.
From the draw, expect James McDonald to sit handy before peeling off them and kicking hard down the long straight.
