Pro punters show how it's done
Horse Racing tipster of the week
With the Spring Carnival just around the corner, this is the time that punters want to be hitting their straps.
And two pros are doing just that, with strong weekly performances that cemented impressive tipping streaks.
Top 10 tipsters for the week
The first was ChewmansRougies, a pro punter from out in Broken Hill.
Since joining the site back in May, this bloke has dished up four straight profitable tipping months.
And if you want to know how he's done it, the clue's in the name.
ChewmansRoughies clearly doesn't shy away from going for a bit of value.
In fact, no less than 70% of his winning tips got home at odds greater that $7.
This is exactly what we saw this week, with his 3 winners from just 17 selections saluting at an average price of $23.63.
This resulted in a whopping 317% Profit on Turnover (POT).
What an effort.
A very tidy start to his tipping career at theGreatTipOff
The next pro to make a splash was fellow New South Welshman ThePuss.
This cat was tipping up a storm, with his 13 selections greeting the judge at a strike rate of 54% and an average price of $6.17.
Numbers like this generally result in a bumper POT, and this was no exception.
ThePuss clocked off with a ripping 232% profit on turnover.
If that wasn't enough, he's now found a profit 6 days on the bounce.
Plenty will be keeping an eye on this pro punter.

But it wasn't just the pros who made a statement in the lead-up to the Spring Carnival.
The media experts also had something to say, led by form analyst for SKY Racing, Mick Wallace.
Focusing on NSW's provincial and country racing, Wallace cleaned up deluxe at Sunday's Dubbo meet.
He bagged 4 of the 8 winners, two of which booted home at double figure odds.

On top of that, Satan Da was also Wallace's best bet, his second of the week to salute after he also bagged his best at Kembla on Thursday.
Look at the actual stake horse racing leaderboard where the stake for each best bet is doubled, and Wallace finished up with a monster 203% POT.
Phenomenal tipping.
Also showing his class was Leo Schlink, sports and racing journo for Herald Sun racing.
Fresh off being named as one of the best horse racing tipsters in July, Schlink has continued to impress.
He was all over Saturday's Flemington meet, tipping every winner from Race 3 to 8.
This resulted in a cracking 128% POT for everyone who followed Schlink's Saturday racing tips.
With form on the board, Schlink's tips are sure to be hot property in the coming weeks.
Joining their Sky Racing colleague in the top 10, Brett Moody and David Fowler had plenty to write home about.
Moody cleaned up at Saturday's Toowoomba meeting where he bagged 4 winners including 2 of his best bets. Fowler also did his damage up north, breaking the bookies at Ipswich last Friday.
Wedged in between the two race callers was Travis Noonan, who flew the flag for Racing.com with 109% POT from his 17 tips.
Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week
It was a punter who climbed to the summit of the weekly harness leaderboard, thanks to a fat 127% POT.
We're talking about Shogun, a popular punter from the Sunshine State.
And looking at his extended record, it's not hard to see why.
Shogun is now sitting on almost $7K in cash profit from $100 bets on his harness tips over the past 180 days.
This week he placed just 25 tips, but it was still enough to generate a hefty $3,180 in cash profit from $100 win bets.
This was thanks to the value he was able to find, with Shogun's 5 winners saluting at an average price of $11.36.
Terrific tipping.
Switching over to the greyhound leaderboard, and it was pro punter RapidJourney who fared best.
This Sydneysider saw 6 of his 15 tips bolt home at an average price just shy of $5.
This generated a very handy 99% POT.
And far from being a flash in the pan, RapidJourney has a history of tipping with this kind of quality.
Not only is he sitting on a 5-month tipping streak, but he's able to boast a mind-blowing all time profit of $13,598 from $100 win bets.
Now that's a stat to make your eyes water.
RapidJourney clearly knows his dogs
