Punters power to the top
It was a Punters' paradise this week.
Half of the top 10 spots were in favour of the Punter, including the prized position of first.
The media experts held their own, completing the podium with two analysts in a rich vein of form.
The key to success this week was a high strike rate. Most of these analysts found a winner once in every three races, with those near the top improving on this even further.
A great effort from all who made the leaderboard.
Best horse racing tipsters for the week
Samuel2 has been lighting up the leaderboard with a Tassie trounce of the bookies.
He has been flying in recent weeks and took it to another level at Launceston.
He was able to start the day strong with Hero Of Romani saluting at $10.00 and then wrapped it up nicely with Bell Ringer Boy in the last.
With Tasmanian racing heating up in the lead into Spring, Samuel2 is one to follow.
Just look at Sky Racing's Bernadette Cooper go.
Not only has she given the bookies a beating this week, but is in the running for Tipster of the month (TOM).
Her Doomben demolition job landed her a $1,500 cash profit off $100 win bets over the last 7 days and filled followers' pockets to their brims.
Striking at 67% for the week, if this form continues she will be mighty hard to beat for media TOM.
Colin Hodges is lining them up and knocking them down.
Three winning weeks in a row is a truly impressive feat.
He topped the week off with a Coonabarabran clinic on Saturday.
This led him to a $1,110 cash profit and a huge 159% POT.
Chris Blackwell dominated in 2021 and the hot streak has continued long into 2022.
A known value hunter, his average winning price was amongst the best of our top 10, lodged at $5.62 for the week.
Fans would have been over the moon when best bet Desert Thorn stormed home at Broome at $7.90.
This gave him a $1,870 cash profit and a 125% POT.
Outstanding effort from one of the best in the West.
Blackwell dominates WA racing
The final media tipster to make the top 10 was Matthew Young.
He is now on a 4-month tipping streak and will look to continue his stunning form in WA.
His follower count has been going through the roof and you would be silly not to follow the crowd.
A brilliant effort from one of the sharpest analysts in WA.
Congratulations to all other pro and 'punter' tipsters who filled our top 10 leaderboard. An outstanding effort over a great weekend of racing.
These include TheBadge, Joshkellett7, Leonard2717, kiwipop and Deej101.
Best Greyhound and Harness Tipsters
Lachlan Stace had a day out on Monday.
He may have only had 3 winners on the day from 8 tips, however when you get both best bets home at $6 that is mighty impressive.
This gave Lachie a 116% POT and average winning price of $5.03 for the week.
A special shoutout to Duncan Dornauf who was no doubt the star of the week.
Duncan went almighty close to tipping the card at Launnie greys.
Look at these numbers. 7 winners from 9 races at an average price of $3.59.
This led to a 179% POT and a whopping $1,610 cash profit for the week.
Not only a great race caller but an outstanding tipster.
