Sandown Hillside Race 5 Tip #1 Shepard $5.00
Peter Moody's promising stayer strikes a winnable race here over the 2400m.
This Sea The Moon gelding arrives here off a solid fifth behind Maliseet over 2100m. On that occasion he appeared to need the run, after coming off a 39-day freshen to recover from a foot injury.
He's a winner in BM78 grade and contested a BM84 last start, so contesting a BM70 is a serious drop in grade.
The 3kg claim for young gun Campbell Rawiller puts him well in the weights and makes him very hard to beat.

Sandown Hillside Race 1 Tip #6 Grand Pope $9.50 each way
The Nick Ryan gelding was slow away at his Sale debut, before being run off his feet in the middle stage of the race.
He managed to pick up late and I loved how strong he was over the last 100m and through the line, which suggests he'll appreciate the rise in distance.
Drawn barrier 1 he'll be afforded an economical run throughout and with even luck in the straight, he will be flying late.
The Ryan stable are in red hot form, producing 2 winners and 3 placings from their last 10-starters.
The son of More Than Ready should relish the 1300m and looks a great each-way bet.
