History says you need a filly in form to win the Group 1 Queensland Oaks.

Gypsy Goddess was 2nd in her final lead-up run while Winning Ways was unplaced in The Roses but had won three of her four previous runs prior to that unlucky 8th.

Lane 3 is better but I expect Lanes 4+ to provide the majority of winners.
Advantage horses that can travel with cover and get taken into the race well off the rail.
