Best bets from leading tipsters
Saturday's best bets are locked and loaded for another cracking edition this week.
Eagle Farm Race 1 Tip #8 Maotai $3.00
He brained them on debut at Ipswich before being backed into second favourite in the Spirit Of Boom, behind eventual winner Prince Of Boom.
He was a late scratching after playing up at the barrier on that occasion and was ordered to trial, winning that hit out convincingly.
Experienced hoop Brad Stewart takes up the reigns this time and should take up a forward position from the wide gate.
Ideally he would lead, though will race handy to the pace either way.
This race does look a natural transition to Saturday class, however I can see bigger things in store for this son of Nicconi.
Might pay to get on early as he had great support last start and is likely to get the same backing before he takes this out.

Sandown Race 6 Tip #10 Ocean Miss $3.40
This 4YO Mare was a certainty beaten last start at Flemington where she was held up for most of the straight.
When she finally got into the clear she flew home and just failed to grab Mongolian Marshall.
The booking of Jamie Kah is a huge boost to her chances and expect Ocean Miss to get plenty of clear air on this spacious track from the wide barrier.
She will be suited by the long Sandown straight and she also handles wet tracks.

Randwick Race 3 Tip #10 Our Bellagio Miss $12.00
Really interested in this Greg Hickman trained Mare for her first up assignment.
She returns to the races today after two strong trials with her latest a solid 3rd behind Embracer who has come out and franked the form.
Her form from last campaign on wet tracks reads very well.
She was only 1 length off De Grawin on a day at Randwick where there was savage leaders bias on heavy ground.
Furthermore, with the claim of Reece Jones who is in fine form, she now gets a 6kg weight swing from their last encounter.
While Ice in Vancouver is a deserved favourite on his way to the Kosciuszko, he has a couple of unknows with no Randwick or heavy track form.
I think we can shop around some of the shorter priced runners and grab some early value on Our Bellagio Miss.

Sandown Race 1 Tip #5 Ranveer $2.40
This colt bumped into Profiteer on debut down the Flemington straight.
Profiteer went on to be narrowly beaten in the G2 Todman.
He looks to me like a horse who will be better around a bend and looks to have come back well if the jump-outs are any guide.
He is a pretty smart colt with a future

Eagle Farm Race 3 Tip #1 Ellsberg $3.80
Looks value taking on the hot pot Ayrton.
A super consistent horse that jumps and makes its own luck and retains a great front running jock in Clark.
Beat Private Eye by 3L resuming, with that form holding up well with Private Eye beating Apache Chase next start, who then beat Ayrton.
Second up Ellsberg was on pace again and boxed on well off a strong tempo, only beaten 1.41L, with the swoopers Exoboom and Rainbow Connection flying late to figure.
Last run went down by 0.69L to Kirwan's Lane in an almighty tussle at Rosehill, spacing 3rd, which adds merit.
Back onto a preferred firm track Saturday. Should be in it for a long way.

Belmont Race 4 Tip #2 Beat The Bro $2.80
Beat The Bro has definitely become a bit of a bridesmaid, with 2 wins and 10 placings from 15 starts but the ever consistent gelding strikes another very winnable race.
Was very impressive first up, wide without cover the whole trip before peaking at the 150m behind progressive horse Billy Ray.
In his career he has run 2nd to talented horses such as La Vina, Fuhrer and Big Bada Boom.
Zephyr Queen and Recharger should be the leaders but after that their is not a lot of secondary tempo.
Beat The Bro will likely land leaders back or 3 back the fence, he will spend nothing in the run and as long as he gets out in time can cover this group of horses.

Hobart Race 2 Tip #8 Sea Nymph TBA - Sunday
My best bet will line up at Hobart on Sunday for Trainer and Jockey Sigrid Carr.
This 3YO filly was most unlucky not to run into a minor placing at Cranbourne last start after being held up the entirety of the home straight.
The step up to 1400m looks ideal and this does appear an easier task.
Considering her form-lines, I think we can grab a really great price about this filly.
