Best Bets tipsters come to the fore
Horse Racing tipsters of the week
It was a cracking week on the punt if you followed the tips dished up by a trio of Best Bets form analysts.
The popular racing publication and form guide certainly franked its name this week. They do deliver the best bets.
We'll sing their praises soon, but first up we have to give a wrap to pro punter Rogerthat.
This New South Welshman put in one of the best weekly performances from a pro punter this year.
This was after 5 of his 14 selections greeted the judge at an average price of $18.28.
A combination of value and consistency like this always transaltes into a huge Profit on Turnover (POT).
In the end it was a 553% POT that Rogethat clocked off with.
While this monster POT may seem like a one-off fluke, that's hardly the case.
Rogerthat is now sitting on an all-time cash profit of $8,874 from $100 win bets, after placing more than 500 tips since joining the site.
A phenomenal achievement.

But onto Best Bets now, and the first of tipping trio to earn a shout out is South Australian and country NSW form analyst Julie Rowland.
Rowland has long been one of the go-to tipsters for SA racing, and this week showed exactly why.
She bagged 4 of the winners on Saturday's Morphettville card, including her best bet Almadrava.
With good showings at Strathalbyn on Wednesday and Bordertown on Sunday, Rowland finished the week with 13 winners.
This translated into a bumper cash profit of $3,400 under actual stake conditions.
Next up is Brendan Tupper, who also jagged one of his best bets on Saturday.
This was 10/1 shot Heptagon, that took out Race 8 at Caulfield.

With another 7 of his selections getting up at Ballarat and Sale, Tupper demonstrated just what a good judge of a horse he is.
His 8 winners combined to create a cash profit of $2,280 and a 71% POT.
The final Best Bets analyst to make his mark was Chris Nelson.
The publication's premier Queensland tipster, Nelson saw no less than 21 of his tips greet the judge in the past week.
This generated in excess of $2K profit for punters following Nelson's tips with $100 bets and taking starting prices.
And there was sure to be a few, given that Nelson is now sitting on a 4-week tipping streak.

There's no doubt whose tips you should be following at the big Brisbane meet this Saturday.
Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week
There were some stellar tipping performances in harness racing this week, headed by pro punter Jighski1981.
This Port Macquarie resident recorded a mind-blowing cash profit of $23,410 from $100 win bets.
This was thanks to an astonishing 83 winning tips at a juicy average price of $7.15.
Some call the trots the red-hots, but this average winner price would suggest that there's definitely value to be had in harness racing.
Broadcaster and harness journalist Dan Mielicki also had a week to remember.
The caller for RSN radio raked in $1,460 for all his followers.
A veteran in the industry, Mielicki has really hit his straps of late and is now sitting on a 3-month tipping streak.
Plenty will be hoping to see him keep this form going.
Speaking of streaks, a certain greyhound punter has given a new meaning to the word consistency.
We're speaking of Jmon3y, who topped the dogs leaderboard with an enormous 111% POT this week.
This Victorian has now recorded a profit in each of his last 7 months on the punt.
