Veteran punters make their mark
It was all one-way traffic over the past seven days, with Australia's punters showing up the media experts with a dominant display of tipping.
And right at the top of the leaderboard were two veterans, who have been mainstays at the GreatTipOff.com for a number of years now.
Leading the way with a cash profit of $5,860 from $100 win bets was Fordcat17.
This punter has bags of experience on his side, and has been tipping on our site since all the way back in 2012.
Over the past 7 days, he found 15 winners at an enormous average price of $16.24.
Two of the highlights came on Saturday, where Fordcat17 bagged the winner in Race 2 at both Rosehill and Caulfield.
In Sydney, he got hold of He Ekscels, who saluted at odds of $18.80.
As good as this winner was, it pales in comparison to Tinkermosa who caused a boilover at Caulfield, getting up at huge odds of $77.30.

You can never understate the value of a punter who can steer you into good value at the major metro meets on Saturday.
And after this performance, plenty will be having a look at Fordcat17's Saturday racing tips for next weekend.
Sandgroper is the next veteran punter who is no stranger to finding his name mentioned in this article.
This proud West Australian has featured as one of the best weekly tipsters on countless occasions.
This week, he managed 29 winning tips for his followers, at an impressive average price of $6.76.
On top of this, Sandgroper has now found a profit in 5 of his previous 7 tipping days.

Form like this tends to carry over, so don't be surprised if Sandgroper features once again in next week's article.
Dragons26 demonstrated this by stringing together another cracking week.
He found another 25 winners and $2,350 in cash profit from $100 bets.
This comes just seven days after we gave him a wrap in last week's tipster of the week article, where his 26 winning tips generated just shy of $5K in profit.
The final punter who deserves a mention is Gartman, after he notched up $1,660 in profit.
He tipped 19 winners in all, and at a great strike rate too.
Gartman's winning strike rate finished at 32%, which is just a whisker under a winner from every three selections.
Any punter would be happy with this return.
And finally, while the punters dominated the standings this week, there was one media tipster who performed very well.
That was SKY Racing caller and tipster Matthew Jackson, who cleaned up in the Muswellbrook meeting on Monday.
Jackson tipped 5 of the 9 winners on the card, generating just shy of $3K in profit.

This impressive haul included his best bet Star Alibi in the last, and $23 shot Engadine in Race 6.
Race callers always seem to find themselves in and around the money on the weekly leaderboard.
Considering they spend their careers closely watching horses, it's not hard to see why.
