Free Horse Racing Tip from Cody Lane
Mornington Race 8 #7 Galleon $3.90
Lightly-raced 4YO by Not A Single Doubt making his return here off a Gelding operation.
He was ridden cold in a Flemington jump-out but hit the line well over 800m, before winning his recent trial at Werribee in impressive fashion on a Heavy 8 track.
He has a top record first-up (3:2-0-0) and won when fresh last preparation over this distance on a Soft 7 at Geelong.
Damien Oliver takes the reins, who has an outstanding record at Mornington (20.5% winning strike rate) and rode him in that trial win.
Trainers Ben & JD Hayes are in top form recently (24 winners from their last 100 runners) and can continue their good run with another winner in this former New Zealander.

Warwick Farm Race 2 Copacabana $4.60
I have been eagerly awaiting the debut of this 2YO out of Toronado.
He was nominated for a race at Canterbury earlier this month off the one trial and luckily connections decided to scratch him.
He has gone back to the trials and looks further educated for this event.
He appears to be versatile in racing pattern but from the soft draw of barrier 5 I am hoping they are aggressive with him.
The booking of Josh Parr adds confidence and if he lands in the first 4 he will be awfully hard to beat.
The $15 bet early was insanity and the support is justified.
Should start close to favourite, granted he parades well.

Doomben Race 6 #1 Brookhaven $2.50
His sire Spieth, was competitive at Group 1 level, and this is the best chance this three-year-old has had at winning a race since his maiden back in September last year.
Last start he finished six lengths off them in the Group 3 Rough Habit, and now he finds himself saddling up in a Class 1 midweek.
Two starts back he finished fifth, only 1.38 lengths off Kovalica in the Group 2 Queensland Guineas.
Kovalica followed that up comfortably winning the Queensland Derby last week, so the form is very strong for this kind of race.
Damien Thornton has now taken over the ride, and he looks awfully hard to beat.
