There were some crack performances on the horse racing weekly leaderboard, with pro punters in particular having a good time of it.

But it was a couple of SKY Racing experts who stole the show, thanks to some courageous performances.

But we'll kick things off with the pro punters, after Peter McCormack racked up at outrageous 850% Profit on Turnover (POT).

The West Aussie cleaned up deluxe at Saturday's Belmont meet, bagging 5 winners from 7 selections at an insane average price of $13.30.

This haul included $40 pop The Spruiker in Race 6, as well as $15 chance Magniforce who was too good in the last.

If you reckon this performance was a bit of a fluke, think again.

McCormack has now notched up in excess of $9K in cash profit from $100 win bets over the past 365 days, and is also boasting a 3 month tipping streak at Belmont.

Incredible tipping.

The other pro punter to make a splash was Queenslander Kobie1.

This bloke tipped 4 winners but it was one that he jagged in Flemington that made all the difference.

That's because Kobie1 was one of the lucky few who nabbed Romancer in the Listed Straight Six on Saturday.

The gelding from the Grahame Begg yard got up on the inside to pay a mind-boggling $124.60 on the Victorian tote.

Unsurprisingly, Kobie1's tips drove a monster 380% POT.

And now with a 123% POT from all his tips over the past 30 days, this pro punter is airborne.

Onto the SKY Racing tipsters and faring best was veteran race caller Colin Hodges. 

Col has copped plenty of mentions in the past for his fantastic tipping achievements, but this could be his most impressive showing yet.

The voice of racing in NSW's Central West shot the lights out at Dubbo on Saturday.

He jagged 4 winners from 8 selections, at a mouth-watering average price of $12.15.

Everyone who followed Col's tips ended up with a mammoth 508% POT. 

It really doesn't get much better than that.

Brad Davidson was the other SKY Racing man to tip up a storm. 

The NSW analyst also found plenty of value, with $33 pop Rebel Rama at Rosehill one of his winning tips.

It takes a bit of courage for media experts to stick their necks out and offer up tips at this sort of price. 

Davo bagged 3 winners all up, and considering this came from just 8 selections, it was a special effort.

He clocked off with a thumping 376% POT.

Terry Clifton from Telegraph Racing also deserves a mention for his impressive work on the punt.

The journo and form analyst found 5 winners at a strike rate of 33% and an average price of $7.42.

These terrific numbers generated a bumper 147% POT for Clifton's followers.

They're sure to be back for more this week.

Finally, resident tipster and Perth local Justin Boccardo had a fill-up after jagging 3 winners from 6 selections.

Each of them came in his home state, with the highlight coming in York when Adore Me booted home in the seventh race paying a handy $8.70.

Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week

First up the trots and in yet another demonstration of his tipping prowess, Thomas Hudson led the pack. 

The star punter and resident harness expert nabbed 6 of his 8 selections at a handy average price of $2.60.

This drove a 95% POT for Hudson's followers, who will only keep coming back to the well.

That's because Hudson is fast approaching 12 winning months on the trot.

Phenomenal going.

SKY Racing's sensational week was cemented by Daniel Russ, who booted away at the top of the greyhound leaderboard with a 180% POT.

One of NSW's most talented race callers, Russ continues to show he knows how to tip winners as well.

This week he bagged 9 of them at a strike rate of 39% to go along with a meaty average price of $7.17.

But it's Russ's extended form that will make people sit up and pay attention.

That's because his greyhound tips have resulted in almost $28k in cash profit over the past 365 days. Wow.
