Canterbury Race 5 Tip #2 Beach Baby $3.80
This gelding was desperately unlucky last start and looks set to bounce back in style here.
Jumping from the widest gate in barrier 12, he was hampered by another horse when leaving the gates and was then forced to sit wide without cover throughout.
His effort to finish 0.2-lengths off the eventual winner was full of merit and from the better draw this time, he looks well suited.
Look for jockey Brenton Avdulla to ride positively from barrier 3 and push forward to lead.
Given how strong he was to the line after a torrid run last start here, the extra 50m looks suitable.
With even luck this time around, expect the son of Turffontein to be too strong for his rivals.

Canterbury Race 4 Tip #3 Chocolatier $9.50
This five-year-old gelding from the Jason Deamer yard looks the bet of the day at odds.
He impressed first-up last prep over the same track and appears to be in better form this time around.
His two trials in the lead up to this have been great and he looks ready to produce a big run early this prep.
He maps a treat from a low draw and with very little speed engaged on paper, expect Nash to take him to the front and dictate terms.
Canterbury generally suits leaders, so this boy looks well suited and can produce big showing from the front!

Ascot Race 8 Tip #1 Next Stop The Moon $3.10
This gelding from the Daniel and Ben Pearce yard looks extremely hard to beat.
Fourth-up and at the 1400m for the third run in-a-row, he's at peak fitness for this assignment and appears ready to elevate into the winner's circle.
At his last start, apprentice Chris Graham pushed hard from a wide draw to cross and lead.
He went down swinging to a horse that had the gun run, after tracking him along the rails.
He has moderate speed drawn inside him for this clash and maps to lead comfortably, which will allow him to control the tempo.
The high possibility of a rain affected track is a plus and I expect him to be too strong out in front.
