Best horse racing tipsters of the month April 2018

Topping the money makers list when you're up against Australia's top racing media experts and professional punters is a feat in itself. But when the punter does it two months in-a-row - it's a very special effort indeed.

Punter Dragons26 has just capped of an amazing two months of punting profits. Following up his Tipster of the Month effort in March when he made $7,240 cash profit from $100 win bets (25% POT), he went on to make $6,520 in April (17% POT) finding himself at the top of the ladder once again.

The Sutherland Shire punter in NSW now boasts a massive $8,580 profit for $100 win bet punters over the past 90 days which puts this huge effort way beyond a 'lucky run'.

The runners-up who made the second and third highest cash profits in the month were multi-award winner Blaster with $3,460 profit from 220 tips followed by DagPrez13 who made $3,360 from $100 bets off only 43 tips.

Tipster of the Month Profit on Turnover

Northern-end race caller Craig Sant topped the profit makers when it came to profit as a percentage of turnover. Remember we require at least 15 tips to be posted in the month so it filters out the lucky shots.

Sant found an amazing ten winners from 18 selections which represents a huge 56% strike rate. He was just shy of giving punters $2 return for every dollar invested on his selections in April making  98% POT.

Sant gives punters a huge advantage. As one of the only race callers in the North-end he gets significantly high exposure to the relatively small population of horses in the region. It's that sort of quality knowledge that results in profits like he achieved in April.

Second runner-up in the Cash Profit category, DagPrez13 also found himself as runner-up in the POT category with a huge 78% POT. Just behind him with 63% profit was racing form analyst for the Best Bets racing magazine Kevin Casey. Casey's best bet selections over the 30 day period landed punters 9 out of 29 winners, making them $1,830 from $100 win bets.
