Melbourne based racing tipsters top the profits
With $5,530 of profit made over the past seven days, Melbourne local Danzak climbed his way to the summit of the weekly leaderboard at close of business yesterday, where he sits in rarefied air as the only tipster to crack the $5,000 profit mark from $100 win bets placed on his tips.
At 69-years of age, it was surely Danzak's wisdom and experience in horse racing that saw him ascend higher than anyone else in that time
A lucky week maybe? Hardly. The Melbournian's good form has been running for some time now. Over his last 10 punting days he has recorded no less than 9 profitable days and looking at the bigger picture, there's no reason that this streak can't continue.
The key to Danzac's incredible weekly profit stats is not just his consistency, but his ability to find a winner at a good price. His average win odds of $10 from 10 winning tips is nothing short of remarkable. If you'd ask any bloke what they value most in a horse racing tipster, it would be consistency and value. Danzak has both.
In addition to his big profit this week and his run of nine profitable days from his last ten the accurate punter has amassed more than $10,000 profit from $100 win bets on each of his tips over the past 12 months.
The media tipster leading the way this week is also based in Melbourne, with Herald Sun tipster Nick Quinn having a belter. Finishing up just shy of three grand in profit, Nick Quinn tipped 16 winners and 28 placings. Like Danzak, Quinn was also finding plenty of value. His average winning price of $5.42 is a very tasty average considering he tipped 16 winners. These Melbourne tipsters obviously aren't afraid to stick their necks out.
Brisbane boy from the Best Bets racing mag Joel Marshall was flying the flag for the Sunshine State when we cut the stats using staking plan. By setting the horse racing tipster leaderboard to 'actual stake', we found Marshall had racked up $3,930 in profit.
Remember, actual stake for media racing experts takes into consideration the best bet tips, by doubling the stake in the profit calculation. Marshall's last 3 best bet tips were first past the post, and at a good price. The definite highlight was Pedrena, which saluted for Marshall in Race 6 at Doomben last Saturday, at juicy odds of $11.40, highlighting that local knowledge certainly does make a difference.
